Research at CMERI Durgapur focused on hydraulic power transmission and vibration damping in fluid couplings. Served as Head of the Hydraulic Transmission Department with additional charge of the Filter Testing Department (1965–71); the resulting fluid coupling was licensed to Westinghouse, Saxby and Farmer.
VDO, Frankfurt & Bangalore
Led R&D at International Instruments Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, following training at VDO GmbH, Frankfurt (1971–76).
